Located in the Thalhimer Pavilion, Track Level.  This event is free and open to the public.  Enter through the East Gate on DMV Drive.

9        FRC Kickoff and Kit Pick-up - VCU Student Commons, 907 Floyd Avenue, Richmond

16      FTC Q-vent (Qualifier 3) at NSU in Norfolk

23      FTC Q-vent (Qualifier 4) at Christiansburg High School in Christiansburg

February

27      FTC Virginia State Championship Tournament, University of Virginia, Charlottesville

This event is part of Tech Fair 2010 at University Hall and both are free and open to the public. Forty-eight teams will compete in two divisions after earning their spots via qualifiers.

March

4 - 6   FRC Washington, DC Regional, Walter E Washington Convention Center

More than 60 teams will compete at this event.  Thursday is set aside for robot testing and practice matches, while Friday from 9 to 5 and Saturday from 9 to 3 will feature qualification matches, with the exciting final rounds after 12 noon on Saturday.  The event is free and open to the public.

11-13  FRC Chesapeake Regional, Baltimore Convention Center (note new location), Baltimore

More than 50 teams are expected to welcome the Chespeake Regional to the Queen City!  Thursday is set aside for robot testing and practice matches, while Friday from 9 to 5 and Saturday from 9 to 3 will feature qualification matches, with the exciting final rounds after 12 noon on Saturday.  The event is free and open to the public.

18 - 20  FRC Virginia Regional (formerly NASA/VCU Regional), Stuart C Siegel Center, Virginia Commonwealth University, Richmond

More than 60 teams will compete at this event.  Thursday is set aside for robot testing and practice matches, while Friday from 9 to 5 and Saturday from 9 to 3 will feature qualification matches, with the exciting final rounds after 12 noon on Saturday.  The event is free and open to the public.

April

1-3    FRC North Carolina Regional (new event!), Dorton Arena, North Carolina State Fairgrounds

Welcome to the newest of the FIRST Robotics Competition Regionals!  More than 40 teams will compete at this inaugural event.  Thursday is set aside for robot testing and practice matches, while Friday from 9 to 5 and Saturday from 9 to 3 will feature qualification matches, with the exciting final rounds after 12 noon on Saturday.  The event is free and open to the public.

15-17  FIRST Championships, Georgia Dome and World Congress Center, Atlanta, GA

FIRST teams from around the world, across all programs, will converge to celebrate the season and to compete for the right to be called FIRST World Champions.  All of the competitions are free and open to the public.  Details on the schedule will be posted to the FIRST website www.usfirst.org as they are announced.
